God calls us to be vigilant. As believers we should always be vigilant. Much like the watchmen of old, that stood on the great wall surrounding the city of Jerusalem and sounded the alarm when impending danger threatened. We should do the same in our own lives.
Throughout our lives storms come. The disciples learned this lesson themselves. In the middle of a the storm Jesus came to them on the water. In reaching them he calmed the storm and challenged their faith. He does the same for us today!
This life is but a whisper of things to come. However, it has a profound impact on what our eternal existence will be like. Jesus tells us that everything we do here is about getting ready for our eternal existence. Are you getting ready for what is to come?
