Author Biography: Phillip A. Edge
For over thirty years, Phil Edge has dedicated himself to a deeper study of the Bible, guided by a commitment to follow God’s prompting. His academic background includes degrees and credentials from Southwest Texas State University, the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, and the University of Texas at San Antonio. With a diverse career as a pastor, minister, and educator, Phil has consistently served his community as a mentor, coach, and small group facilitator. His enduring passion is to share the Gospel and foster spiritual growth in believers at every stage of life.
Phil’s writing is driven by a core conviction: “Whether you’ve been a believer for one day or one hundred years, you should never stop learning or growing.” When asked about his motivation, his humble response is always the same: “It’s my love for Jesus. It compels me to inspire others to love, live and pursue Him.”
Currently living in the Ozark Mountains of Southern Missouri, you can find him enjoying a good book with his wife (whom he loves and adores), sitting on the porch enjoying God’s creation with a steaming cup of chai, or in the woods enjoying his favorite pastime. He continues to share God’s Word, facilitate small groups, mentor other believers, preach on occasion, and write and develop material as God prompts.
